Building a Community

For over 63 years, Yolo Federal Credit Union has strived to make a local difference. In October of 2017, we were fortunate enough to join in on a once-in-a-lifetime, full-fledged “people helping people”

experience called Project Playground. In our efforts to support local organizations, we were able to donate $30,000 to this local project.

Project Playground is a local non-profit organization in Winters, CA. The mission of Project Playground was to revitalize a community park that needed a little TLC. This community building brought the entire town together. Residents, local organizations, and businesses donated their time, skills, and money to rebuild the park. There were even some people who grew up in Winters, but no longer lived in the town, out to show their support and love for the community.
