William C. Schemel, Chairman

William has been on the Board of Directors since 1980 and has served as Chairman of the Board for much of that time. The credit union has grown during William’s service from one small branch in Woodland offering share accounts to a full service financial institution with multiple branches throughout the county.
David J. Thompson, Vice Chairman

David is an active proponent of providing housing opportunities for everyone and in expanding the credit unions offerings to first time home buyers.
David has lived in Davis for over 25 years and is a former board member of the Davis Food Co-op, former regional Director of the National Cooperative Bank and President of the Twin Pines Cooperative Foundation. David is a well known Cooperative expert recognized throughout the Country and Europe.
Robyn Rominger, Secretary

Robyn has served on the Board Since March 2005. She previously served on the Loan Committee of the Mid Delta Credit Union in Indianola, Miss. Robyn is a long-time Yolo County resident, growing up in Davis, living for a time in Woodland and residing near Winters since 2001. Robyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in government-journalism from Cal State Sacramento. She also is a 2001 graduate of the USA Rice Leadership Development Program. Robyn has been a professional journalist for 20 years, specializing in agricultural journalism.
Captane (Cap) P. Thomson, Treasurer

Cap is now retired after 27 years as the Yolo County Mental Health Director but still maintains a private practice. A Board member since 2002, Cap has a strong interest in seeing the credit union continue to assist families with their financial needs at a local institution.
Debbie Bruno, Director

Debbie was born in Woodland and believes it is important to give to her community. Debbie has been a member of PTA at all levels of public schools, a Board member of YMCA and the Woodland Opera House. Debbie has been a Realtor for over 20 years and is a past President of the Yolo County Association of Realtors and a Board member of St. John’s Retirement Village. Debbie holds a Bachelors’ degree in Sociology from the University of Hawaii.
Byron E. MacConnell, Director

Byron has been a resident of Yolo County since 1981 and worked in the Title industry since 1973. Byron is an Eagle Scout and has been very active in the community volunteering for Elderly Nutrition Meals for over 20 years, a past President of AM Kiwanis Club of Woodland and a current member of Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club. Byron also serves the community as a blood donor and currently has reached the Centennial mark.
Phillip L. Marler, Director

An avid supporter of credit unions, Philip has been a life-long member of credit unions and a member of Yolo Federal Credit Union since 1993. Phil has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Masters in Hospital Administration.
Phil served as Executive Director/Integrated Services for Woodland Healthcare for 5 years and as Assistant City Manager of the City of Woodland for ten years.
Floyd McCain

Following a long and very successful career with Yolo County as the Personnel Manager, Floyd worked with several non-profits in the county before joining up with Yolo FCU. Floyd joined the Supervisor Committee in 2000 and has served as Chair for most of that time.
Floyd enjoys attending the Board meetings and seeing the members’ interests are protected with annual audits. Floyd is an accomplished tennis player with a full trophy case.
Bonnie Carrere

Bonnie served as the credit union Manager from 1962 until 1986. Bonnie was the only employee at the beginning. Three days a week Bonnie would be working in a tiny space in the Courthouse waiting on members, doing manual calculations of the dividends and interest and posting the accounts by hand. Bonnie moved over to the Board of Directors in 1993 and served until 2006, many of those years also serving on the Supervisory Committee.
Ed Marquez

Ed retired after 32 years working for the Yolo County Housing Authority and has been a member of Yolo FCU since 1979. Ed was born in Woodland and attended Woodland schools. When Ed is not working on the Supervisory committee, he is either acting as chauffeur/Grandfather or spending time at a local golf course.
Clyde Brooker
President and CEO

Clyde has been the CEO of Yolo Federal Credit Union since January 1998. Prior to his current position with the credit union, Clyde served as the elected Yolo County Treasurer and Tax Collector for 11 years. Clyde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Management from Fullerton State University and graduated from CUNA (credit union) Management School with honors. Very active in the community, Clyde serves on the Woodland Healthcare Foundation Board of Trustee, is a past President and current Board member of the Woodland Food Closet and is a member of the Woodland Rotary noon club.
Lynn Jepsen
Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Lynn, who has been the Chief Financial Officer of Yolo Federal Credit Union since 1987, has been working in the credit union industry since 1972. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from San Jose State University. She is also a graduate of Western CUNA Management School – a program designed for credit union management personnel. Lynn is the treasurer of the Rotary Club of Woodland Sunrise, treasurer of the Woodland Sunrise Rotary Foundation and serves on the Board of Yolo County Red Cross. Lynn has also served as a volunteer in credit union trade organizations. She is a resident of Woodland.
As the Chief Financial Officer, Lynn is responsible for accounting and finance functions as well as the back office operations and collections.
Eric Emerson
Vice President – Information Systems and Technology

After a distinguished career as a United States Air Force pilot, Eric (Lt. Col., Retired) joined forces with Yolo Federal in 1994. His task was to create and head-up a then brand new department – Information Systems and Technology. Since that time Eric has overseen the credit union’s technological development through the implementation of online banking services, the credit union’s web site and intranet, document management systems, database and applications servers, disaster recovery site and pretty much anything else that plugs in to a power outlet.
Jenee Rawlings
Vice President – Lending and Support Services

Jenee has worked for Yolo FCU since 1989 and graduated from Western CUNA Management School in 1996. She has a Bachelors degree in Business Management with a focus in Organizational Psychology and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society of Human Resource Management. She volunteers throughout Yolo County and is a member and past President of the Woodland Healthcare Auxiliary. She is currently responsible for the departments of Lending, Marketing, Business Development, and Human Resources
Brenda Price
Vice President – Member Services

Born and raised in Yolo County, Brenda has over 28 years of financial institution experience with the last 10 years serving as Vice President for Yolo FCU. Brenda is also a CUNA Management School graduate. Brenda oversees the operations of our five branches, the call center and our Business Services Department. Brenda is very active in our community and volunteers her time at the Woodland Opera House and as Treasurer for the Yolo Family Service Agency.
